These ham and cheese crescent rolls are not only WW friendly but kids love them too!
My kids are teenagers but they can still be pretty picky. If I’m making something that’s “too healthy” they won’t want to eat it.
Something like these ham and cheese crescent rolls are a win win for all of us!

I have quite a few recipes on my site that use crescent rolls. One easy way to lighten them up is to use the reduced fat crescent rolls.
My kids have no idea that the crescent rolls are different. Using the reduced fat crescent rolls saves 4 points for the whole recipe.
Whenever I use lunch meat I buy Boar’s Head. I used 4 oz. of black forest ham for this recipe which was only 2 points. I put .5 oz. of ham on each crescent roll.
Now for the cheese, I used Sargento ultra thin cheddar cheese. I only used a half piece of cheese for each crescent roll, so 4 slices of cheese altogether.
I unrolled the crescent roll then placed the ham on the larger edge of the roll and then put the cheese on top of that. I started rolling the crescent roll at the large end.
When I make my Italian Stromboli I top it with Italian seasoning, dried minced onion and garlic powder. It’s delicious so I decided to top these with the same combination of seasonings.
Instead of using butter on top of the crescent rolls I did an egg wash. I brushed a little bit of egg wash onto the roll then a little bit of seasoning.
If you’re following green you might want to use just an egg white for the wash so that it doesn’t add points for the egg.
The crescent rolls baked for about 12 minutes, until they were nice and golden!

Absolutely delicious!! They are 4 points per serving for blue, green and purple. You can eat them as is, use a low point dipping sauce or even some mustard. Just be sure to add any extra points.
