This recipe combines two of my favorite things, pizza, and pasta!
Not only is this dish delicious, but it’s also very filling.

You can top it with as many of your favorite 0 point veggies as you want!
How I kept this recipe light:
I wanted to make a meat sauce for this so I used 96% lean ground beef. I used 1/2 lb. which is only 6 points.
Instead of buying premade spaghetti sauce, I made my own. The base of the sauce is canned tomato sauce, which is 0 points.
As far as the noodles I made sure to weigh them so the points were accurate. 10 oz. of penne pasta is 30 points.
Using part-skim mozzarella cheese also saved some points. I don’t like using fat-free cheese because I don’t like the way it melts.
For the pepperoni, I used turkey pepperoni. To me, it tastes just like regular pepperoni and 16 of them was only 2 points.
I also topped it with red onion and green pepper, which are both 0 points.
You can track the recipe at 6 servings for 9 points per serving or 8 servings for 6 points per serving.

How to make Pizza Pasta Bake:
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the noodles according to the directions on the box.
Make sure you only cook the noodles until al dente because you are also going to bake them.
While the noodles are cooking start browning the ground beef. Season with salt and pepper.
Once the beef is no longer pink, remove any grease and add the tomato sauce.
Next, add in the garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese.
Let the sauce come to a light simmer and let it cook for 5 minutes.
Once the noodles are drained, add them to the sauce and turn off the heat. Pour the mixture into a casserole dish.
Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the noodles, then top with the turkey pepperoni and any other toppings you would like.
Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is completely melted.
