I have been making this sandwich on repeat lately. Lunch, dinner, you name it!
A club sandwich was always one of my favorite things to order when I’m out to lunch, but it’s not very WW friendly.
When I tracked a regular club sandwich on the WW app it was 20 points! I knew I could lighten it up.

More importantly, I wanted to lighten it up without changing the taste.
This club sandwich has the flavor of a regular club sandwich but for way fewer points.
It went from 20 points to only 6 points!

How I lightened it up:
Let’s start with the bread. A traditional club sandwich has three slices of bread, but I only used two.
I didn’t even miss the extra piece of bread!
The bread I chose was only 1 point per slice. I prefer white bread when I have a club sandwich so I used Carb Smart white bread.
Instead of using regular mayonnaise, I used light mayonnaise. That took 2 points off the total sandwich.
One tablespoon of light mayonnaise is only 1 point. One tablespoon goes a long way!
Oscar Mayer center cut bacon is only 1 point for 1 slice. You could also use turkey bacon for only 1 point.
I used 2 ounces of Boar’s Head ham and 2 ounces of Boar’s Head turkey. Of course, I used my food scale to make sure the points were accurate.

The one thing I skipped was a slice of cheese. I was going to use a slice of Sargento ultra thin cheddar cheese, but it was 2 points. I decided to save the 2 points for something else but you could add it and have an 8 point sandwich.
Lettuce and tomatoes are 0 points so feel free to load ’em up!
How to make a Club Sandwich:
The first thing I did was started frying the bacon. Once it was done I put it on a paper towel and removed any extra grease.
I like my bread toasted but I don’t like it warm, so I toast that before I get my other ingredients ready.
Next, I sliced the tomato and added a little salt and pepper.
Once everything was ready it was time to assemble the sandwich. I started by spreading on the light mayonnaise.
I topped it with lettuce leaves, tomato, bacon, ham, and turkey. (Break bacon in half before adding it.)
This is a hearty sandwich for only 6 points!
