This recipe is easy, budget friendly, and perfect for a pizza craving!
You only need three ingredients for tortilla pizza – tortillas, pizza sauce, and cheese.

You can also customize your pizza by adding your favorite toppings.
I love that this recipe is so inexpensive, nowadays that’s hard to come by!
This is how much it cost me:
- Mission Carb Balance Tortillas – $4.49 (eight tortillas)
- Kroger brand part-skim shredded mozzarella cheese – $2.49 (six 1/3 cup servings)
- Kroger brand pizza sauce – $1.59 (12 servings – 2 tablespoons per serving)
All together it was $8.57. I have enough to make 6 tortilla pizzas and they’re only $1.43 each!
Not to mention there are still two tortillas leftover and 6 servings of the pizza sauce.
I made my tortilla pizzas in the air fryer but you can also make them in the oven if you don’t have an air fryer.
Personally, I prefer the air fryer because it cooks faster and gives the tortilla a crispy bottom.
How I lightened up Tortilla Pizzas:
The first thing I did was chose a low point tortilla. Mission Carb Balance has been my favorite brand lately.
I used to always use Ole Xtreme high fiber tortillas but after trying the Carb Balance brand I prefer it.
There is a 1-point difference between the tortillas. The Ole Xtreme tortillas are only 1 point each while the Carb Balance tortillas are 2 points each.
Instead of full-fat mozzarella cheese, I used part-skim mozzarella cheese. It tastes good and melts perfectly.
When I add toppings I go for 0 point vegetables or turkey pepperoni.

How to make a Tortilla Pizza:
Lay out the tortilla and add 1-2 tablespoons of pizza sauce. Don’t add too much sauce because the tortilla will get soggy.

Add the tortilla to the air fryer (or a baking sheet if you’re using the oven) then top with the cheese.

Cook in the air fryer 4-6 minutes at 400 degrees or bake in the oven 7-9 minutes.
Let the tortilla sit for a minute before taking it out of the air fryer basket.
I topped my pizza with fresh basil, but that’s optional.
This tortilla pizza goes great with a low point salad.
