This delicious chicken leg recipe is super easy to make!
It can be made in the air fryer or oven. When it’s hot in the summer I like using my air fryer because it doesn’t heat up the whole house.

I also like that the air fryer takes less time to cook the chicken.
Most of the time I eat chicken breast, but I really like dark meat.
Plus my kids love chicken legs so it’s a win-win!
How to make Lemon Garlic Chicken Legs:
I tried something a little different this time and it actually worked out great. Instead of using oil for the marinade I used chicken broth.
It helped to save points but it was still full of flavor.
In a large zip-up baggie, I added the chicken broth, garlic, oregano, onion powder, lemon juice and chicken legs.

I let the chicken sit in the marinade overnight in the fridge. You could also do it 2 hours before dinner if you’re running low on time.
When it was time to cook the chicken I pulled the legs out and added them to the air fryer basket in a single layer.

I cooked the chicken for 20 minutes at 380 degrees, flipping halfway through.
Once the internal temperature has reached 170 degrees it’s done cooking.
To bake the chicken legs set the oven to 400 degrees and bake 35 to 40 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 170.

This chicken is so juicy and flavorful!
