I had a major craving for some steak bites the other day, the problem was I didn’t have any steak.
But I did have chicken, so I decided to make Garlic Butter Chicken Bites.
I was not disappointed!

Garlic Butter Chicken Bites are cooked until golden brown, but still juicy.
The best part was it only took about 15 minutes to make, talk about a quick dinner!
Plus it’s lower in points than steak bites. Click here to view your WW Personal Points and track it on your app.
What you need to make Garlic Butter Chicken Bites:
- Boneless, skinless chicken breast (You can substitute with chicken thighs but if you follow Weight Watchers you’ll need to check the points)
- All purpose flour
- Italian seasoning
- Onion powder
- Salt and black pepper
- Light butter
- Garlic cloves (Use fresh garlic only)
Using fresh garlic gives the chicken so much flavor, I wouldn’t substitute with garlic powder or jarred minced garlic.
This is the garlic press I use. You don’t have to peel the garlic plus it has a built in cleaner.
How to make Garlic Butter Chicken Bites:
The first thing I did was cut 1 lb. of boneless, skinless chicken breast into bite-size pieces.
Next I added the flour, Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt and black pepper to a large zip up bag.
Add the chicken to the bag and seal it closed. Toss the chicken to get it coated in the flour mixture.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Once the pan is hot add the butter followed by the chicken. Make sure the chicken is in an even layer.
Let the chicken cook for 3 minutes or until it’s golden brown. Turn the chicken over, add the garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. Give it a good stir so the garlic mixes with the chicken.

The great thing about this easy chicken recipe is you can serve it with anything! Pasta, green beans, peas, rice, cauliflower rice, a side salad…you name it.
