Hot diggity this is another 0 point snack!! Greek frozen yogurt is taken to a new level when it’s frozen with some delicious fresh fruit in it.
I still had to add some vanilla and artificial sweetener to make the yogurt better, but the result was really good!
I love that the Weight Watchers Freestyle program has so many zero point foods on the list. I really enjoy trying to come up with recipes to truly utilize all of the zero point foods.
Some other things I have made with the fat free Greek yogurt are chocolate frozen yogurt, frozen banana pops and cilantro lime dressing.
It is funny to think that I hated the Greek yogurt at first. I still would not eat it plain, but I love it in recipes!
I think my favorite recipe using the fat free Greek yogurt is my deconstructed chicken gyros.
It is a delicious ZERO point recipe! Even if you decide to add pita bread to it, it will still be very low in points.
Adding fresh fruit to the yogurt makes it taste a lot better too. Plus fruit just makes it look pretty. 🙂 Check out the recipe below!
I live in Michigan. That means during the winter months it gets dark out very early. I work until 5 so most nights I’m not home until around 5:30. It’s completely dark by that time.
Why am I telling you this? Because the lighting in my pictures isn’t always too good during the week. You will see what I mean in a couple of the pictures below.

Yield: 0 Freestyle points!
- 1 cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 packets Splenda
- 4-6 strawberries
- 1 teaspoon cocoa powder (optional)
-
In a small bowl, mix the yogurt, vanilla and Splenda.
-
Line an 8 x 8 baking pan with parchment paper. Pour the yogurt mixture into the pan evenly.
-
Cut up the strawberries and add them to the yogurt. I pushed them into the yogurt slightly.
-
Add the cocoa powder using a mesh strainer.
-
Freeze for 2 hours.
How long do you freeze it for?
Sorry about that! I updated the recipe…but I put it in the freezer for 2 hours
I’m excited to try this recipe and your others. Thanks for sharing!
In the directions it says freeze for 1 hour. So do we do 1 or 2 hours?
Sorry about that! You should freeze it for two hours. I will update that.
