Making a Banana Mug Cake:
I love that it only takes 5 minutes to prepare this and cook it!
You can use a mug or a ramekin to make this cake. Also, you can mix everything together in the bug so you only have one dirty dish.
I started by adding the wet ingredients to the mug. First, mash half of a banana in the mug, then add the egg and applesauce. Mix everything together.
Next, add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and Splenda (or sweetener of choice), then stir it all together.
The last step is to cook it in the microwave. It should take 60-90 seconds, depending on your microwave.
Optional Additions:
Add a teaspoon of chocolate chips for a gooey and indulgent treat.
For a tropical twist, try adding shredded coconut or chopped pineapple.
If you’re a fan of nuts, throw in some chopped walnuts or pecans for a satisfying crunch.
And for those who love a touch of decadence, a dollop of Nutella or a swirl of caramel sauce will do the trick.
