This Pepperoni Pizza Melt is perfect for a pizza craving, but lower in points!
It’s like a patty melt but made with pizza ingredients.

Pizza Melts are made with just four ingredients, making them a quick and easy meal. You will need:
- Bread (I used Aunt Millie’s Live Carb Smart bread – it’s only 1 point per slice)
- Pizza sauce
- Part-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Turkey pepperoni
You can also add any of your other favorite pizza toppings. Green pepper, red onion, and mushrooms are all good zero point options.
How to make a Pepperoni Pizza Melt:
Before I started assembling the pizza melt, I heated a nonstick frying pan over medium heat.
Lay out the bread and top one side with the pizza sauce. I used about 1 tablespoon worth.
Sprinkle the cheese over the pizza sauce, then top with the turkey pepperoni.
One way I saved points with this recipe was by omitting the butter. Instead, I used olive oil spray, which was 0 points.
Spray the pan, then add the sandwich. Grill it, just like you would a patty melt or grilled cheese.
I cooked my pizza melt for 2-3 minutes on each side. You want the bread to be crispy and the cheese to be melted.
You would never know I didn’t use butter on the bread!
This delicious pizza melt was only 5 points.

Serving Suggestions:
I like to keep it pretty simple. I serve my Pepperoni Pizza Melt with a small side of pizza sauce and some pickles or a low point salad.
A low point soup is also perfect for a filling meal.
