Who said you have to give up on enjoying delicious cocktails while on a diet?
With this WW friendly strawberry daiquiri, you can sip on a fruity and refreshing drink without compromising your healthy goals.
The best part? It only takes a few ingredients and minutes to prepare, making it the perfect cocktail for any occasion. Let’s get blending!

How I lightened it up:
Simple syrup is typically included in a strawberry daiquiri. It’s a liquid sweetener that’s made from dissolving sugar in water.
One tablespoon is 3 points so I left it out. My strawberries were sweet enough, but if yours aren’t you can add a teaspoon of Splenda or sweetener of choice.
I calculated the points as a drink – meaning it added points for the strawberries since they are blended into a liquid. If I’m making a smoothie I don’t usually add the points. It’s up to you how you want to calculate it.

How to make a Lightened Up Strawberry Daiquiri:
One of the great things about this recipe is you don’t have to wait for anything to freeze.
I used 1 cup of frozen strawberries, 1 cup of fresh strawberries, lime juice, and white rum.
Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. If it’s too thick you can add a couple tablespoons of water.
Pour the drink into a glass and garnish with a strawberry and lime. It’s that easy!
Tips for making the perfect cocktail:
- Use fresh ingredients: This ensures that your drink will be full of flavor and aroma.
- Blend thoroughly: When making a blended drink, make sure to blend it thoroughly until all the ingredients are smooth and evenly blended. This will give you a perfect consistency and ensure the drink is delicious from the first sip to the last.
- Chill your glass: Chilling your glass will keep your cocktail cold and refreshing.
- Garnish your cocktail: A garnish can make all the difference in the presentation of your cocktail.
Follow these tips to create a delicious and beautiful Weight Watchers friendly cocktail that you can enjoy guilt-free.
Variations to the recipe:
Try making a Pineapple Strawberry Daiquiri. Add 1/2 cup of fresh pineapple to the blender along with the strawberries for a tropical twist.
For a Raspberry Strawberry Daiquiri – Swap out half of the strawberries for raspberries for a slightly tart, sweet flavor.
You can also make a Virgin Strawberry Daiquiri by leaving out the rum.
