Whether you’re looking for an appetizer, snack, brunch, or lunch these crescent rolls are perfect!
They’re also kid friendly, which is always a bonus.

I also love that it only takes a few minutes to prepare and 10 minutes to bake.
Summer break is right around the corner! You should save this recipe for an easy lunch idea.
How I lightened up these crescent rolls:
Instead of using regular crescent rolls I bought reduced fat crescent rolls. That helped save 6 points.
To keep the cheese low in points I used Sargento ultra thin Swiss slices, and I only used a half piece of cheese for each crescent roll.
The ham I used was only 4 points for 4 ounces. I used Boar’s Head cooked ham slices.
Using an egg wash for the top of the crescent rolls instead of butter also saved a lot of points.

How to make Ham & Swiss Crescent Rolls:
Start by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Open the crescent roll tube and unroll the dough. Separate each crescent roll and lay them on the baking sheet.
Add .5 oz. of ham to the larger part of the triangle on each crescent roll. Then add a half piece of cheese to each crescent roll.
Roll up the crescent roll starting at the larger end.
Whisk together 1 egg with 1 tablespoon of water. Brush the crescent rolls with the egg wash, then sprinkle on poppy seeds.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden.
I served my Ham and Cheese Crescent Rolls with Dijon mustard. It was delicious!
