This Mexican Dip is easy to make and super good!
It’s also low in points. For me it’s only 2 points for 1/4 cup. That’s a lot of dip!

Besides being easy to make you only need a few ingredients:
- Fat free sour cream
- Taco seasoning mix
- Salsa (I used a chunky salsa)
- Reduced fat Mexican cheese
Making the dip is as easy as adding everything to a small bowl and mixing it up. I like to refrigerate it for an hour before serving it.
Fat free sour cream is runnier than low fat sour cream. If you want a thicker dip you can use the low fat sour cream, just recalculate the points.
I used a reduced fat Mexican cheese blend. You can use any type of reduced fat shredded cheese you like. Cheddar cheese would be good too!
What should you serve with this easy Mexican dip? If you want to keep it really low in points you can serve fresh vegetables.
Celery, broccoli and cauliflower are all good with it.
Tortilla chips are good too, but they can be high in points. I cut up some Ole Xtreme high fiber tortillas (they are only 1 point for each tortilla) and put them in the air fryer so they were crispy. You could also bake them in the oven.
For an extra kick of flavor you can top the dip with green onions or fresh cilantro.
Have you checked out my Etsy store? Each week I write out our dinners for the week. I keep the Weekly Meal Plan in a frame and write on the glass with glass marker. This way my kids always know what’s for dinner.
