These “Fried” Chicken Tacos can be made in the air fryer or oven!
There’s also a delicious ranch sauce that’s easy to make.
For blue and purple you can have two tacos for 5 points, with green it’s 9 points.

Here’s what you need to make “Fried” Chicken Tacos with Ranch Sauce:
- Boneless, skinless chicken breast (1 lb. cut into 1″ pieces)
- Tortillas
- Italian breadcrumbs
- All purpose flour
- Eggs
- Fat free sour cream
- Ranch seasoning
The brand of tortillas I used was La Banderita yellow corn tortillas. Eight of the tortillas was 13 points. If you use a different brand you will want to doublecheck the points.
Making the ranch sauce is very easy. I used fat free sour cream because it’s low in points and runnier than regular sour cream which makes it great for a sauce.
I simply mixed together the fat free sour cream and ranch seasoning and put it in the fridge until I was ready to use it. The longer it sits before you use it the better it will taste.
For the Italian breadcrumbs I put 1/2 cup in a shallow bowl but only used 1/4 cup. So when I calculated the points I only put in 1/4 cup. It makes it much easier to coat the chicken if you have more breadcrumbs than you need.
Same for the flour, I put 1/2 cup in a shallow bowl but only used 1/4 cup.
You will have three bowls for the chicken. I lined them up seasoned flour, eggs and breadcrumbs.
Dunk the chicken in the flour, eggs then breadcrumbs. If you’re using an air fryer you can put them right in the basket.
If you’re baking them in the oven you can put them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and sprayed with cooking oil.
Once the chicken is cooked you can assemble the tacos. The points for the tacos include the chicken, cabbage, tortillas and 1 tablespoon of ranch sauce for each taco. If you add cheese or any other toppings you will want to add the points.
You will have ranch sauce leftover. It makes a great dip for vegetables!
