If you’re a fan of the classic sloppy Joe sandwich, then you’ll absolutely love this pizza version!
It’s a fun twist on a beloved dish that’s perfect for a quick and easy dinner.
This recipe is also great for those who love pizza but want to switch up their usual toppings.

The combination of the sweet and tangy sloppy Joe filling with the crispy crust and melted cheese creates a mouthwatering flavor that everyone will enjoy.
Plus, it’s lightened up!
How I made it WW friendly:
The first thing I did was chose a low point premade pizza dough. I bought a Kroger ready to bake pizza crust in a tube. The Pillsbury version will also work, just make sure the points are the same.
Once difference between the Kroger crust and Pillsbury crust is you have to prebake the Pillsbury crust before adding the toppings, the Kroger brand you do not.
Using 96% lean ground beef also helped to lower the points. Another low point option is ground turkey.
Cooking the ground beef with onions and seasoning it with garlic powder, salt, and pepper helped to make sure the beef was full of flavor.
I also used reduced fat cheese to help lighten it up. I used shredded Mexican cheese but you could also use cheddar.

How to make Sloppy Joe Pizza:
Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the tube.
Add the ground beef to a skillet and cook over medium heat. Break the beef into small pieces, then add the chopped onion.
Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Once the beef is no longer pink drain any grease.
Reserve 1/4 cup of the Manwich sauce. Add the rest of the sauce to the ground beef and heat through.
Roll out the pizza dough onto a greased baking sheet, or line it with parchment paper.
Spread the Manwich sauce evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a little bit of space around the edges for the crust.
Top the sauce with the beef mixture, then the shredded cheese.
Bake the pizza until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown.
Remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Serving suggestions:
Pair with a salad: A crisp green salad with a low point dressing can be the perfect side dish to this pizza.
Add some vegetables: To increase the nutritional value of your pizza, try adding some veggies to it. Bell peppers or mushrooms can be added to the pizza before baking. You could also top the pizza with fresh diced tomatoes or shredded lettuce.
Serve with baked fries or chips. This adds some texture to your meal and is a classic pairing that never gets old.
