Sloppy Joe Sliders are perfect for a party appetizer or a family dinner!
They might be mini but they are full of flavor and very filling.

I love making Hawaiian roll sliders. I have recipes for Italian Hawaiian Roll Sliders, Chicken Bacon Ranch Sliders and BBQ Chicken Hawaiian Roll Sliders.
They’re all delicious, but I think the Italian sliders are my favorite.
How I lightened up these Sloppy Joe Sliders:
Using 96% lean ground beef helped to keep the points low. It’s only 12 points for one pound.
I used Sargento ultra thin cheddar cheese slices instead of regular cheese slices. Five slices was only 10 points.
Instead of topping the Hawaiian rolls with melted butter I used olive oil spray, which was 0 points.
The spray still toasted the rolls and it helped the sesame seeds stick.
To make this a quick and easy recipe I used a can of Manwich instead of making my own sauce.
How to make Sloppy Joe Sliders:
Begin by cooking the ground beef and onion until the beef is cooked through. Drain the excess fat.
Add the Manwich sauce and let it cook 5 minutes.
Cut the Hawaiian rolls horizontally and remove the top part of the rolls.
Place the bottom of the rolls into a 9×13 pan.
Spoon the beef mixture onto the Hawaiian rolls.
Top the beef mixture with the cheddar cheese slices, then put the tops of the rolls back on.
Spray the roll tops with olive oil then top with sesame seeds.
Bake the sliders for 10 minutes or until they’re heated through and the cheese is melted.
These sliders are best served right away.
I usually eat my sliders with pickles since they’re 0 points.
If you’re feeding a crowd you could also serve:
- Baked beans
- Potato chips/pretzels
- Macaroni salad
- Potato salad
