These Philly Cheesesteak Sloppy Joes are a fun take on regular sloppy joes.
They’re delicious and easy to make. Perfect for a busy weeknight!

I calculated the points for only the meat mixture. There are so many options for buns I didn’t want to include them. Whether you do sliders, wheat buns or a low point bun you’ll want to add the additional points.

What you need to make Philly Cheesesteak Sloppy Joes:
- 96% Lean ground beef
- Green bell pepper
- Onion
- Garlic
- Cornstarch
- Beef broth
- Worcestershire sauce
- Tomato sauce
- Salt and black pepper
To prepare the beef mixture I started by chopping the green bell pepper and onion.
In a large skillet I added the ground beef and garlic. I broke it up and started to brown it. To save points I cooked the green bell pepper and onion with the meat mixture.
I like the peppers and onions to still be a little crispy so I add them towards the end of the beef cooking.
Drain the ground beef. Mix together the beef broth and cornstarch then add it to the meat.
Add the Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, salt and black pepper. Set to medium heat until the mixture starts to simmer, then turn the heat to low.
Let the meat mixture cook for 5 minutes, this will allow the sauce to thicken.
Top with cheese and mix together. Serve on your bun of choice.

Yield: 6 servings (This is for the meat mixture only. Add additional points for your bun.)

My husband loved these Philly Cheesesteak Sloppy Joes. He said they were so much better than a traditional sloppy joe. These will be on our monthly rotation.
