Dinner will be ready in less than 30 minutes with this lightened up sloppy Joe recipe!
When I searched the Weight Watchers app for a sloppy Joe sandwich it came up as 10 points. I knew I could make one for way less points.
I calculated this recipe at 6 servings. For blue and purple it came out to 0 points for one serving. For green it came out to 2 points.

That doesn’t include the bun, that is just for the meat. I used Pepperidge Farm mini slider buns which are 3 points each.
Since I follow the blue plan that means my sloppy Joe was only 3 points!! I could have two lightened up sloppy Joe’s for fewer points than one regular one.
Instead of using ground beef I used fat-free ground turkey. This is what saved me the most points.
I cooked the turkey with onion, green pepper and garlic which helped give it a ton of flavor.
To get the sloppy Joe sauce going I used tomato sauce, which is 0 points. I added brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce to amp up the flavor.
Even though brown sugar has points (2 points for 1 tablespoon) the recipe still comes out to 0 points because there are 6 servings.
If you were to have two servings of the meat mixture it would change to 1 point for blue and purple.
I had my sloppy Joe with a pickle and it was a filling meal!
The points for the buns are not included because it can vary so much depending on what you choose.
