This Peanut Butter and Jelly Oatmeal is a great way to start the day!
It’s easy to make and it will keep you full for hours.

Growing up I took a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch every day. Somehow I never got sick of it.
I still love PB&J to this day!
How I kept this recipe light:
Instead of using regular peanut butter I used PB2 Powder. The peanuts in PB2 Powder are pressed to remove most of the oil. It has 70% fewer calories than regular peanut butter.
Most importantly it still tastes like peanut butter. Mixed with water it makes a creamy peanut butter.
To sweeten the oatmeal I used sugar free maple syrup.
I also used sugar free raspberry preserves for a topping, which added some sweetness.
How to make Peanut Butter and Jelly Oatmeal:
Add the uncooked rolled oats to a small nonstick saucepan.
Next, add the almond milk, water, PB2 Powder, vanilla extract, cinnamon, sugar free maple syrup, and a pinch of salt.

Cook the oatmeal over medium low heat for 5-10 minutes. Once the liquid has been absorbed by the oatmeal it’s ready to eat.
Add the oatmeal to a bowl.
Now the most important part – adding the toppings.
In a small bowl mix together 1 tablespoon of PB2 Powder with 2 tablespoons of water. Drizzle it over the oatmeal.
Do the same thing with the jam, drizzle it over the oatmeal.
You can also add fresh berries to the oatmeal.
It’s such an easy breakfast idea!
