This Strawberry Angel Food Cake is an easy no bake dessert. It’s cool and refreshing, perfect for summer!
It’s only 3 points per serving for blue, green and purple. It’s WW friendly but also perfect for any BBQ or get together.
I love fresh strawberries in the summer and this is a perfect dessert for them.

Here’s what you need to make Strawberry Angel Food Cake:
- Pint of strawberries
- Fat free Cool Whip
- Sugar free strawberry Jello
- Angel food cake (I used store bought)
Just a few simple ingredients is all you need!
This dessert needs to have 3-4 hours in the fridge so the Jello can set. I usually make it the night before I plan on serving it.
Strawberry Angel Food Cake can be saved in the fridge for a couple of days. Just be sure to put some plastic wrap over it or store it in a sealed container.
You could also make this with oranges instead of strawberries. Just use mandarin oranges and sugar free orange Jello.
I used a store bought angel food cake. It was much easier than making my own. 🙂
To help keep the recipe low in points I only used 6 ounces of the angel food cake, which was a little less than half.
The other half of the cake didn’t go to waste. My kids love angel food cake with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. It’s pretty much the easiest dessert and they love it.

Yield: 8 servings (3 points per serving for blue, green and purple)
- 6 oz. angel food cake (I used store bought)
- 1 pint strawberries, cut into pieces
- 8 oz. fat free Cool Whip
- 1 box sugar free strawberry Jello
- 1 1/4 cup boiling water
-
Break the angel food cake into small 1" pieces and set aside.
-
Add the Jello mix to a large mixing bowl. Stir in the boiling water until gelatin is dissolved.
-
Stir the strawberries into the Jello then stir in the Cool Whip. Once it is a solid pink color stir in the angel food cake. Add the dessert to a small casserole dish.
-
Place in the fridge for 3-4 hours or overnight.
