Chicken burgers are great for a burger craving! They’re lightened up but still full of flavor.
I used Perdue fresh and lean ground chicken for these burgers. It’s 4 points for 4 ounces – that’s for blue, green and purple.
If you prefer a different type of ground chicken you can use that, just double check the points.

The weather is warming up and these chicken burgers are perfect for grilling!
If you’re cooking these Ranch Chicken Burgers on the grill you will want to make sure to spray the grill grate with cooking spray so they don’t stick.
You can also use a grill pan if you want to cook them inside.
Here’s what you need for Ranch Chicken Burgers:
- Lean ground chicken
- Ranch seasoning
- Reduced fat Mexican cheese, shredded
- Onion
- Sargento ultra thin cheddar cheese
Of course you can eat the chicken burger on its own or add a hamburger bun. Just make sure you add the points for the bun.
Once Ranch Chicken Burger is 6 points for blue, green and purple. I used a light hamburger bun for 2 points making my Ranch Chicken Burger 8 points all together.
Not only are these burgers filling but they’re also delicious!
To keep my meal low in points I served it with carrot sticks for 0 points. You could do any 0 point vegetable, fruit or even a low point salad.
I topped my Ranch Chicken Burger with lettuce and red onion. Tomato would be good too!

Yield: 4 servings (6 points per serving for blue, green and purple)
- 1 lb. Perdue fresh and lean ground chicken
- 1 oz. ranch seasoning mix
- 2 tablespoons yellow onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup reduced fat Mexican cheese, shredded
- 4 slices Sargento ultra thin cheddar cheese
-
In a large mixing bowl mix together the ground chicken, ranch seasoning mix, onion and Mexican cheese.
-
Evenly divide the mixture into four servings and make four patties.
-
Grill 5-6 minutes on each side only flipping once. Add the cheddar cheese slices the last minute of grilling.
