These Fruit Hand Pies are delicious and low in points!
They’re only 2 points each for green, 2 points for one with blue and purple or two for 3 points.
I filled my hand pies with blackberries but you could also do blueberries, strawberries or raspberries.

What keeps these hand pies so low in points is using two ingredient dough. You simply combine one cup of plain, fat free Greek yogurt and one cup of self-rising flour.
I think the easiest way to make the dough is to combine the yogurt and flour in a mixing bowl then use a fork to mix it together.
The dough is kind of sticky so using a fork instead of your hands is much easier.
After the dough is mixed I put it on my work surface that was sprinkled with flour.
Use a rolling pin to roll the dough out to 1/4 inch thick. I used a 4.4 inch circle cookie cutter to cut out 8 circles.
Half way through I balled the dough up and rolled it out again.
The fruit is easy to get ready, but I recommend doing it before the dough so it has some time to cool.
I added one cup of blackberries to a pan with 1 teaspoon of cornstarch and 1 teaspoon of sugar. I cooked it on low for about 10 minutes.
Once the blackberries started to lighten up and soften I used a fork to break them down some. Then I removed it from the heat to let it cool.
When the fruit is cooled you want to add a heaping tablespoon to a piece of the cut out dough. Fold it in half and press the edges together. I also used a fork to seal the edges.
Since the dough can be somewhat sticky I sprayed my fork with cooking spray. This helped to keep the dough from sticking.
Once the eight pies are made you want to put them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
I made an egg wash to brush on each hand pie. I did not include the egg in the points for green because you don’t use very much of the egg.
Let the hand pies bake 25-30 minutes or until they are golden in color.
The two ingredient dough is great for so many recipes, not just pizza! I’ll include some more recipes I’ve made with two ingredient dough under the recipe card.
