Fruit pizza….yummy, yummy!
Saying that reminds me of The Wiggles song – Fruit Salad…yummy, yummy. If you know what I’m talking about you probably have the song stuck in your head now. Sorry about that! 🙂
My daughters never really got into The Wiggles, but I have a nephew that was obsessed with them. He constantly wanted to watch them. I definitely preferred watching Dora, which is what my daughter was obsessed with.
Actually, if I’m being honest I would have preferred to watch neither. Lol!
Back to the fruit pizza. This recipe is great for a dessert, or even just a snack.
For the pizza dough I started out using the two ingredient dough, but I added cinnamon and granulated sweetener to the dough.
It made it more of a dessert pizza. I loved the slight cinnamon taste to the dough.
The “sauce” for the pizza is reduced fat cream cheese and sugar free maple syrup.
I added raspberries, strawberries, kiwi and blueberries. You add any kind of fruit you like! I also thought about adding bananas and mandarin oranges. I always have a lot of fruit at my house.

The strawberries were my favorite. Next time I might just use all strawberries. I just love the sweetness of the strawberries with the cream cheese.
This fruit pizza is four servings, making it 2 Freestyle points per serving. That’s a low point dessert if you ask me!
If you want to make it an over the top dessert you could also add some low point chocolate sauce and fat-free Reddi Wip. There are so many ways you can dress up this fruit pizza. Just make sure you calculate any additional points if necessary. Check out the recipe below!

Yield: 4 Servings (2 points per serving for blue and purple, 3 points per serving for green)
- 1/2 cup self-rising flour (It must be self-rising flour)
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon granulated sweetener
- 1/2 cup fat-free, plain Greek yogurt
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 oz. reduced fat cream cheese (room temperature)
- 2 teaspoons sugar free maple syrup
- fruit of your choice
-
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
-
In a medium size mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour, cinnamon and granulated sweetener. Whisk it together.
-
Add the fat-free, plain Greek yogurt and mix together, I used my hands.
-
Sprinkle flour on your work surface. Add the dough and knead it for about 2 minutes, then roll it out.
-
Spray a baking sheet with no-stick cooking spray and place the dough on it.
-
Add the egg to a small bowl with about one tablespoon of water and whisk together.
-
Use a pastry brush to spread the egg wash over the dough.
-
Place the dough in the oven for 12-14 minutes or until golden in color. Let cool.
-
While the dough cooks, place the cream cheese and sugar-free maple syrup in a small mixing bowl. Use a hand held mixer to whip the cream cheese until light and easy to spread. I mixed it for 1-2 minutes on medium-high.
-
Add the cream cheese mixture to the pizza dough, then add the fruit toppings.
