The meal plan is merely a suggestion as far as what day you want to eat which meal. With Saturday being “date night” I always try to eat light on Friday. That way I can save up some points.
Sunday is usually our family meal. I try to plan something a little heavier that everyone will like.
Chicken Lazone is the recipe for Sunday. It is only 3 Freestyle points per serving. I chose to add 1/2 cup of angel hair pasta (for 3 additional points) for a total of 6 Freestyle points.
Another option is to serve it over rice. I’ve had it both ways and they are both delicious! Just make sure to add any extra points.
Of course you can skip the carbs all together and serve it with broccoli, or another vegetable.
About the Ultimate Chicken Salad, this is one of my favorite recipes. It’s packed full of veggies and only 1 point per serving. It’s great for lunch or dinner!
