Here’s what you need to make Spinach Parmesan Pasta:
- Pasta (I used bow-tie pasta)
- Fresh spinach
- Garlic
- Parmesan cheese
- Butter
How to make it:
Start by weighing out the pasta. I used 8 ounces of uncooked bow-tie pasta.
Boil water in a large pot. Add some salt and the uncooked pasta. Let it cook according to the package instructions until it is al dente.
When the noodles are done cooking reserve 1 cup of the pasta water, then drain the noodles.
Using the same large pot melt butter on medium heat then add the minced garlic. Let that cook for one minute.
Add the cooked pasta and spinach to the pot. Give it a good stir then add some of the pasta water. I usually use about 1/2 cup.
Next add in the Parmesan cheese. At this point I try a noodle and add some salt and black pepper.
That’s all there is to this easy pasta recipe!
My daughter loves to top hers with red pepper flakes.
This recipe makes four servings. Each serving is about 1 cup. You could change it to 6 servings to lower the points.
The pasta goes great with baked chicken or fish!

Yield: 4 servings (approximately 1 cup per serving)
