This Garlic Lime Shrimp is an easy 15 minute meal!
There’s very little prep to do and clean up is a breeze.
It’s also low in points, 2 points per serving for blue and purple, 3 points for green.

This recipe is only for two servings but it can easily be doubled.
Here’s what you need for Garlic Lime Shrimp:
- 10 oz. raw shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- Garlic
- Lime
- Cilantro or parsley
- Salt
It’s very few ingredients!
I bought shrimp that was frozen so I let it thaw before using it.
You can either stick it in the fridge the day before or you can run it under cold water until it thaws.
Either way I always rinse off the shrimp before I use it, then pat it dry with paper towel.
To make this Garlic Lime Shrimp I started by melting the butter in a pan, then I added the garlic.
Let the garlic cook for about 20 seconds then add the raw shrimp.
I let the shrimp cook for 2 minutes then flipped it over and let it cook 2 more minutes.
You’ll know the shrimp is cooked when it turns from translucent to opaque. It will also have some pink/orange accents.
Once the shrimp is cooked you stir in the lime juice and add a pinch of salt.
I like to add chopped cilantro but you can also do parsley.
My 10 oz. bag of shrimp had 22 shrimp in it. That’s 11 shrimp per serving!
Serve the Garlic Lime Shrimp with some rice and you have a delicious and low point meal.
