Some nights I am all about throwing something together as fast as I can. Last night was one of those nights. It ended up being a delicious and filling meal!
I was inspired by a restaurant by me that makes these delicious pita sandwiches. I always get the same thing because it is so good. It’s pita bread, grilled chicken, hummus and tabouli. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
I’m not sure how many points are in one of their sandwiches because there is no nutritional value listed. So instead of risking going over my points I made my own sandwich.
I used a Flatout Wrap because it was only 2 Freestyle points. The hummus I used was 2 Freestyle points for 2 tablespoons and the tabouli I used was 2 Freestyle points for 2 ounces. I baked some boneless, skinless chicken breasts that I seasoned and that was 0 points.
If you’re really looking to save some time you could always buy a cooked rotisserie chicken from the store. Remove the skin and use the breasts.
All together my wrap was only 6 Freestyle points. Not too bad for a very filling dinner.
As always you’ll want to double check the points for your ingredients. There are many different varieties of hummus and tabouli so it is best to double check.
I love making wraps (or roll ups) because they are usually pretty easy to make. Plus I’m always in the mood for a sandwich!
