I love cookies & cream ice cream. LOVE it! So I thought why not make cookies and cream yogurt? Guess what? It’s delicious!!
When I was a kid we didn’t have a lot of junk food in the house. We almost never had Oreo’s in the house, but I remember my Mom bought them one time.
I was so excited that I ate half of the package. I was probably seven years old….and I ate HALF of the package!!
It pretty much made me sick and I didn’t eat Oreo’s again for years. I never even had cookies & cream ice cream when I was a kid because of my cookie incident.
It wasn’t until I was in my 20’s when I tried it. I loved the ice cream and realized I loved Oreo’s again.
Now that I made this yogurt I can have cookies & cream whenever I want. At 2 Freestyle points per serving I can even make it a daily treat.
My cookies and cream yogurt is also easy to make. It’s ready in less than 5 minutes!
I used fat-free Greek yogurt which is 0 Freestyle points. I used two Oreo cookies, but I used the Oreo thins so they were fewer points.
I flavored the yogurt with a 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1 tablespoon of sugar-free, fat-free vanilla instant pudding powder. It really helped hide the strong taste of the plain yogurt.
This cookies and cream yogurt is great for a snack or dessert, but I also think it would work for breakfast too. Cookies for breakfast? Why not!? Add a cup of fruit and it’s a 2 point breakfast.

Yield: 2 servings (2 points per serving for blue and purple, 4 points for green)
- 1 cup plain, fat-free Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon sugar-free, fat-free vanilla instant pudding powder
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 Oreo thins
-
In a small bowl mix together the yogurt, pudding powder and vanilla extract.
-
Put Oreo thins in a zip up bag and crumble them with a meat mallet or rolling pin.
-
Sprinkle Oreo crumbs into the yogurt and stir together.
