This gnocchi with sausage is everything you could want in a recipe – it’s delicious, easy to make and low in points!
It’s also ready in about 20 minutes. It’s the perfect weeknight meal.

Many of the ingredients to this gnocchi dish are low in points. Spinach, petite diced tomatoes and chicken broth are a few that are all 0 points.
Instead of using regular sausage I used turkey sausage. This is what I used:

It was only 15 points for 12 oz. I simply broke it up instead of using the patties.
If I would have used pork sausage it would have been 36 points!! Using turkey sausage saves 19 points.
This is the gnocchi I used:

Three cups of the gnocchi is 21 points.
If you use different ingredients you’ll want to doublecheck the points.
You could also use the Trader Joe’s cauliflower gnocchi. It would save 8 points.
I know not everyone has a Trader Joe’s by them so I made the recipe for regular gnocchi.
To make this gnocchi with sausage I started by chopping 1/2 onion. I added 1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil to a pan and added the onion and 2 cloves of minced garlic.
That cooked for about 1 minute then I added the turkey sausage. I broke up the patties and let it cook through.
Next I added the gnocchi and mixed everything together. Then I added the diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning and chicken broth.
I put the lid on and let it cook for 5 minutes. Once the gnocchi was cooked I added the spinach.
Once the spinach was cooked I added the mozzarella cheese and put the lid back on until it was melted.
Add some salt and pepper and dinner is ready!
It’s such an easy meal!

This sounds really good and I can’t wait to try it! I will probably use breakfast turkey sausage crumbles for the sausage. I like your recipes very much. I would like to request that you show the points at the top of the page as well if possible so that we don’t have to scroll down to find that out. If you could do that it would be great!
What are the serving sizes? I don’t seem to see them on any of the recipes.
