I’m not sure if everyone has Boston Market by them, but if you do you’ve probably had their cinnamon apples. They are so good!
I looked them up on my app the other day and couldn’t believe that they are 14 points for a side of them!!
(This post contains affiliate links. Please see my disclosure for more info.)
As good as they are there is no way I would use up 14 of my points…that’s more than half of the points I get in a day!
Instead, I decided to make my own. My cinnamon apples are only 2 Freestyle points. I saved myself 12 points!! And they’re really good.
I still wanted some chicken from Boston Market to go with my apples. The 1/4 white chicken (which is one breast and wing) is only 1 point if you remove the skin.
Lucky for me my daughter had just gotten her braces tightened so I ordered the chicken for myself and gave her the 2 sides so she could eat mashed potatoes. It was a win, win!
Since this is only 2 points it would also make a great dessert with a little bit of low point vanilla ice cream. Yum!
I used an apple slicer to save time. It’s perfect because it also cores the apple. I still sliced the apple into smaller pieces, but using the apple slicer is a great starting point.
