Chicken Breast: This is an excellent source of lean protein, helping this meal deliver 40 grams of protein per serving. Protein helps keep you satisfied, supports muscle health, and makes this dish especially filling.
Cherry Tomatoes: Cherry tomatoes are low in calories and packed with vitamins A and C, potassium, and lycopene, an antioxidant that supports heart health.
Their natural sweetness also adds tons of flavor without the need for added sugar.
Penne Pasta: Pasta is naturally low in fat and pairs well with lean proteins and vegetables, making it easy to create a balanced meal.
Garlic: Garlic adds incredible flavor while providing antioxidants and compounds that may support immune function and heart health.
Olive Oil: A small amount of olive oil supplies heart-healthy monounsaturated fats and helps create a rich, satisfying sauce without relying on heavy ingredients.
Chicken Broth: Using chicken broth instead of heavy cream keeps the sauce light while adding moisture and savory flavor with very few calories.
Light Cream Cheese: Light cream cheese gives the sauce a creamy texture with significantly less fat and fewer calories than traditional cream-based sauces.
Parmesan Cheese: Parmesan cheese adds bold, nutty flavor, calcium, and protein. Since a little goes a long way, you get plenty of taste without needing large amounts.
