This is an easy dessert that is also low in points!
I love strawberry desserts, especially in the summertime.
My inspiration for this dessert was banana pudding. I love how the Nilla wafers become soft after sitting in the pudding.
The Ingredients
Nilla wafers: I used to buy reduced fat Nilla wafers but I couldn’t find them anywhere. I think they quit making them.
Instead I used regular Nilla wafers. I used 8 cookies, which was 7 points. ,
Strawberries: I used fresh strawberries for this dessert. I think frozen strawberries would be too watery.
Fat-free Cool Whip: I used the fat-free version since it has fewer points than regular Cool Whip. To me, it tastes the exact same.

How to Make Strawberry Shooters
The first thing I did was clean the strawberries and then cut them into bite-size pieces. You need one cup.
Add the strawberries to a medium-sized mixing bowl.
Roughly chop the Nilla wafers and add them to the mixing bowl.
Measure 1 cup of the fat-free Cool Whip and add it to the mixing bowl.
Gently mix all of the ingredients together. Divide the mixture into four dessert cups.
You can eat it right away or refrigerate it for a couple of hours so the Nilla wafers get soft.
Yield: 4 servings

- 1 cup strawberries, chopped
- 8 Nilla wafers, roughly chopped
- 1 cup fat-free Cool Whip (thawed)
- 4 (4 oz.) dessert cups

Add the strawberries, Nilla wafers, and fat-free Cool Whip to a medium-sized mixing bowl.

Spoon the mixture into the four dessert cups.
