Crunchwrap Supreme – Weight Watchers Freestyle

My kids love Taco Bell. I get it, when I was their age I did too. I still like a soft taco supreme occasionally.

What I don’t love is going to Taco Bell. The one by my house takes forever!! I’m usually stuck in the drive-thru for at least 20 minutes. And I’m not even the one eating it!! It’s usually for my kids.

Every time we go it ends the same way. I tell my kids I’m never going there again. I guess time heals all wounds because I always end up going back.

Last night my kids wanted Taco Bell. Instead of going there I decided to make it for them. That’s how I came up with this Crunchwrap Supreme.

The Crunchwrap Supreme from Taco Bell is 16 points!! My version of the Crunchwrap Supreme is only 7 points. After making a few simple changes I was able to cut the points by more than half.

For the tortilla I used Ole Xtreme high fiber tortillas because they are only 1 Freestyle point each.

Instead of using ground beef I used 99% fat free ground turkey, since it’s 0 points.

I used reduced-fat Mexican shredded cheese and fat-free sour cream to save on points.

For each Crunchwrap Supreme you need 2 Ole Xtreme tortillas and 1 tostada. One of the Ole Xtreme tortillas needs to be cut to the size of the tostada shell, I just used a sharp knife.

Next you want to add about 1/3 cup ground turkey (with taco seasoning) to the center of the large tortilla. You want to leave room around the border so you can easily fold it up.

I only used 1 tablespoon of the queso cheese dip, which I drizzled over the turkey.

Next I added the tostada shell.

Then I added the sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, and Mexican cheese.

Next I placed the cut out tortilla over the tostada.

Next I folded up the large tortilla over the small tortilla and added it to a preheated non-stick frying pan. I placed it in the pan seam side down, this helped to seal the tortilla closed.

Once the tortilla was browned I flipped it and cooked the other side until it was browned.

My whole family loved these…and it saved me a trip to Taco Bell! Check out the recipe below!
