Tomato Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup diced yellow onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 14.5 oz. diced tomatoes
  • 15 oz. tomato sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup fat free half & half

Instructions

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  • Add the onion and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds, stir while it's cooking.
  • Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, oregano, salt and pepper. Mix together.
  • Stir in the Parmesan cheese and half & half. Heat through then serve.
