Ingredients

  • 4 slices Sara Lee 45 calorie bread
  • 1/2 cup skim milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 2 tablespoons fresh-squeezed orange juice
  • Pinch of cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat a nonstick skillet on medium heat.
  • Add the milk, egg, vanilla extract, orange zest, orange juice and cinnamon to a shallow dish and whisk together.
  • Spray the skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Dip both sides of the bread in the egg mixture and add to the skillet.
  • Cook for 3 minutes on each side or until it is golden brown. Repeat with the remaining bread slices.
