  • 1 cup fat free sour cream
  • 1 lb. spaghetti noodles
  • 56 oz. crushed tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder, divided
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups part skim mozzarella cheese, shredded, divided

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Add the cream cheese, sour cream,1/2 cup mozzarella cheese and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder to a mixing bowl and stir together. Set aside.
  • Boil a pot of water and add the spaghetti noodles. Cook 1 minute less than the box calls for then drain.
  • Add the turkey sausage and chopped onion to a pan. Cook over medium heat until the sausage is cooked through.
  • Add the crushed tomatoes, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, oregano, basil, salt and pepper to the turkey. Stir together and heat until it simmers. Remove from heat and add in the cooked spaghetti noodles.
  • Spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray. Add half of the spaghetti and sauce to the dish.
  • Add the cream cheese mixture to the noodles and spread evenly.
  • Add the rest of the spaghetti and sauce to the cream cheese layer. Top with 1 1/2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
