Greek Turkey Burgers

Yield: 4 servings (1 point per serving for blue and purple, 3 points for green)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. 99% fat free ground turkey breast
  • 1/2 cup spinach, chopped
  • 1/4 cup reduced-fat feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup red onion, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat a frying pan on medium heat.
  • Add all of the ingredients to a large mixing bowl. Use your hands to combine all of the ingredients. Split the turkey mixture into four portions and form 4 patties.
  • If possible cover the patties and refrigerate for an hour. If you're short on time you can get right to cooking them.
  • Cook the turkey burgers for four minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
