Greek Seven Layer Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 cup hummus (I used Sabra plain hummus)
  • 1 cup tzatziki sauce (see below)
  • 1/2 cucumber, chopped
  • 5 oz. cherry tomatoes, cut into quarters
  • 2 tablespoons red onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup reduced-fat feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons sliced black olives

For the tzatziki sauce:

  • 1 cup plain, fat-free Greek yogurt
  • 1/3 cucumber, shredded
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  • Spread the hummus evenly on the bottom of a 9" pie pan or square baking pan.
  • Spread the tzatziki sauce evenly on the hummus. (To make the tzatziki sauce simply stir the Greek yogurt, cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, dill, salt and pepper together in a bowl.)
  • Add the cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, feta cheese and black olives. Optional: sprinkle a little more dill on top of the dip.
