Easy Onion Bagels

Ingredients

  • 1 cup self rising flour
  • 1 cup fat free Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried onions
  • 1 egg + 2 tablespoons water
  • NOTE: If you don't have self-rising flour whisk together 1 cup of all purpose flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  • Add the self rising flour and onion powder to a medium mixing bowl and whisk together.
  • Add the Greek yogurt to the mixing bowl and use a rubber spatula to mix together.
  • Once mixed, add the dough to a floured surface. Knead the dough until it is will combined and no longer sticky.
  • Divide the dough into four pieces. Roll each dough piece into a log, then form a circle and seal the ends together.
  • Place the bagels on the baking sheet. Whisk together the egg and water. Brush the egg wash over each bagel. Top each bagel with the dried onions.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until the bagels are golden. Let cool before cutting open.
