Creamy Chicken Noodle Skillet

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. Kluski noodles
  • 1 cup carrots, chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 small yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup skim milk
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the noodles and cook until al dente.
  • Melt the butter in a large skillet. Add the carrots, celery and onion. Cook for 4 minutes then add the garlic. Continue cooking 1 minute. Add the flour and stir together.
  • Add the chicken broth and skim milk. Turn on medium-high heat until it starts to simmer. Reduce heat to medium and cook 5 minutes or until it thickens.
  • Add in the cooked chicken and noodles. Stir together and serve!
