Cheese Stuffed Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. 96% lean ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 pieces Sargento light string cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • In a large bowl mix together the egg, Parmesan cheese, Italian breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley, salt and black pepper.
  • Add the ground beef and mix together. Divide the meat mixture into 10 even sized meatballs.
  • Cut each piece of string cheese into 5 pieces, you should have 10 pieces total.
  • Press the cheese into the meatball then cover the cheese and seal. Place on a baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes. Enjoy!
