BBQ Chicken Hawaiian Roll Sliders

Ingredients

  • 1 (12 pack) Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 2 cups boneless, skinless chicken breast, cooked and shredded
  • 1/2 cup sugar free BBQ sauce
  • 5 slices Sargento ultra thin mild cheddar slices
  • 1/4 cup red onion, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Add the chicken and BBQ sauce to a bowl and stir to combine.
  • Cut off the top of the Hawaiian rolls and set aside. Spread the chicken mixture over the bottom of the Hawaiian rolls.
  • Top the chicken with the red onions, followed by the cheese slices then the Hawaiian roll tops.
  • Melt the butter in a small bowl then brush it on the top of the rolls.
  • Mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, parsley and oregano then sprinkle it on top of the rolls.
  • Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the rolls are golden brown.
