Ingredients
For the meatballs:
1lb.96% lean ground beef
2tablespoonsbreadcrumbs
1egg
2tablespoonsskim milk
1tablespoongrated Parmesan cheese
2clovesgarlic, minced
1teaspoonsalt
1/2teaspoonpepper
1teaspoonparsley
1teaspoonItalian seasoning
For the gravy:
1teaspoonBetter Than Bouillon beef base (mixed with once cup warm water)
1tablespooncornstarch (mixed with 2 tablespoons water)
1/2teaspoongarlic powder
1/2teaspoononion powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Add the breadcrumbs, egg, skim milk, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, pepper, parsley, and Italian seasoning to a large mixing bowl. Mix together until well combined.
Add the ground beef and combine.
Use a cookie scoop to shape 20 meatballs and add them to the air fryer basket. Make sure the meatballs are in a single layer and not touching. Cook for 9 minutes at 400 degrees or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
For the oven:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Add the meatballs.
Bake 13-15 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
Making the gravy:
Make the gravy while the meatballs are cooking. Add the Better Than Bouillon beef base (with 1 cup of water) to a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer.
Mix together the cornstarch and water. Whisk the cornstarch mixture into the beef broth. Let it simmer for 5 minutes while occasionally whisking.
