This Crunchwrap Supreme Tastes Just Like Taco Bell – But It’s Low Carb & Weight Watchers Friendly

If you’ve ever craved a Crunchwrap Supreme but didn’t want to blow your carbs or Weight Watchers points for the day, this recipe is about to change everything.

It has all the layers you love, savory taco meat, melty cheese, creamy sauce, and that signature crunch – without the high carb tostada shell.

The secret? A simple air fryer hack using a low carb tortilla to create that crispy center. It gives you the exact same texture, but keeps everything lighter, higher in fiber and protein, and totally satisfying.

Low Carb High Protein Weight Watchers Recipe Crunchwrap Supreme

The Ingredients

  • Mission Carb Balance flour tortillas (burrito size)
  • Lean ground beef
  • Low carb taco seasoning
  • Reduced-fat cheddar cheese
  • Sour cream (fat-free for Weight Watchers)
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato

Mission Carb Balance Tortillas: They’re high in fiber, which lowers net carbs and supports digestion. Fiber also helps you feel full longer, making this meal more satisfying.

Lean Ground Beef: Using lean beef gives you a high-protein base without excess fat. Protein helps with fullness, muscle maintenance, and stabilizing blood sugar, key for both low carb and Weight Watchers.

Reduced-Fat Sour Cream: This gives you that classic creamy, tangy flavor you expect in a Crunchwrap, but with fewer calories and less fat than the full-fat version.

Reduced-Fat Cheddar Cheese: You still get the gooey, melty texture with fewer points and calories. Cheese also adds protein and calcium.

Lettuce: Adds crunch and volume with minimal calories, helping make the Crunchwrap more filling without increasing points.

Tomatoes: Add freshness and are rich in antioxidants like lycopene, which supports heart health.

How to Make a Low Carb Crunchwrap Supreme

Cut eight small circles from the tortillas (the size of a street taco). I used a large circle cookie cutter. Lightly spray, and air fry two of the circles at 380 degrees F for 4–6 minutes until crispy.

Brown the lean ground beef, then add taco seasoning and water. Simmer until thickened.

Layer in the center of the remaining four tortillas:

  1. Taco meat
  2. Cheese
  3. Crispy tortilla round
  4. Sour cream
  5. Lettuce and tomatoes
  6. Small tortilla piece on top

Fold edges of the tortilla inward in sections to seal.

Cook seam-side down in a skillet for 2–3 minutes per side, or air fry at 380 degrees F for 5–7 minutes until golden.

Why This Works for Low Carb and Weight Watchers

Each Crunchwrap Supreme is high in protein to help keep you full longer. Protein also supports muscle and makes it easier to stay within your daily points without constant snacking.

Using high-fiber, low carb tortillas instead of a traditional wrap and tostada shell dramatically cuts the net carbs. You still get the same texture and structure, just without the carb overload.

Ingredients like lettuce and tomatoes add bulk, crunch, and freshness with minimal calories. This helps make the Crunchwrap feel bigger and more filling, without increasing carbs or points.
