Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray a small baking dish with cooking spray.
Rinse the cod fillet under cold water and pat it dry with a paper towel. Place the cod in the center of the baking dish.
Scatter the halved cherry tomatoes and minced garlic around the fillets.
Lightly spray the cod with olive oil. Evenly sprinkle the smoked paprika, dried oregano, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 18-20 minutes. The fish is done when it flakes easily with a fork and appears opaque throughout.
Once the baking time is up, remove the dish from the oven and allow it to rest for a couple of minutes.
