Classic Meatloaf

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. 95% lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon skim milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons sugar free BBQ sauce or sugar free Ketchup

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Add the Italian breadcrumbs, egg, skim milk, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to a mixing bowl. Mix everything together before adding the ground beef.
  • Add the ground beef but be sure not to overmix it. That will make the meatloaf tough.
  • Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat and shape the meat into a loaf.
  • Brush the top of the loaf with sugar free BBQ sauce or sugar free ketchup.
  • Bake 45-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F.
