Chicken Teriyaki Bowls

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 broccoli crown
  • 3/4 cup rice (uncooked)
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (mix with 2 tablespoons of water)
  • garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Cook the rice according to the directions on the package.
  • Steam the broccoli in a steamer basket or the microwave.
  • Cut the chicken into bite-size pieces and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the chicken to a nonstick pan and cook over medium heat.
  • Once the chicken is cooked through, add the teriyaki sauce. Cook for 1 minute, then stir in the cornstarch mixture. Continue to stir the chicken for 1 minute or until the sauce thickens.
  • Divide the ingredients evenly into four bowls.
