Candy Cane Caprese Board

Ingredients

  • 2-3 Tomatoes
  • 16 oz. fresh mozzarella
  • Fresh basil
  • Balsamic glaze

Instructions

  • Begin by cutting the tomatoes and fresh mozzarella into even slices. This keeps the board looking neat and uniform.
  • On a large platter or wooden board, alternate tomato and mozzarella slices to form the curved top of the candy cane.
  • Keep alternating slices to create the long straight section of the candy cane. Adjust the curve as needed.
  • Tuck fresh basil leaves throughout the board or scatter them around for a pop of festive green.
  • Right before serving, drizzle balsamic glaze lightly over the tomatoes and mozzarella. You can serve extra on the side.
