Apple Pie Wontons

Ingredients

  • 1 Granny Smith apple (peeled and chopped into small pieces)
  • 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon granulated Splenda
  • 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Add the chopped apples to a mixing bowl. Pour the lemon juice over the apples.
  • Add the Splenda, brown sugar, and cinnamon to a small bowl. Mix together and pour over the apples. Stir to combine.
  • Lay out a wonton wrapper. Add a teaspoon of the apple mixture to the center.
  • Add water to a small bowl. Dip your finger in the water, then rub it around the perimeter of the wonton, fold in half and seal it closed. Repeat with the rest of the wontons.
  • Place the wontons in the air fryer in a single layer and spray with cooking spray. Set the air fryer to 350 degrees F and cook 5-6 minutes, or until the wontons are golden and crispy.
  • Let the wontons cool then sprinkle on the powdered sugar.
