  • 12 oz. uncooked ziti
  • 28 oz. crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup part-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded
  1. Add the crushed tomatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper to a medium saucepan. Bring to a simmer, cover and reduce heat.

  2. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the ziti noodles and cook according to the directions on the box. Drain the noodles.

  3. Add the Parmesan cheese to the marinara sauce and stir together.

  4. Spray a casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray. Mix together the ziti noodles and marinara sauce then add to the casserole dish. Top with the mozzarella cheese.

  5. Bake 15-20 minutes, until the cheese has melted.
