Parmesan Cauliflower Steaks

  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup Prego no sugar added traditional sauce
  • 1/2 cup part-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Remove the outer leaves from the head of cauliflower. Cut the end off then cut into 3/4" steaks.

  3. Spray a baking sheet with no-stick cooking spray then add the cauliflower steaks in a single layer.

  4. In a small bowl mix together the Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.

  5. Spray the cauliflower steaks with olive oil then top with the seasoning. Place in the oven for 15 minutes.

  6. Flip the cauliflower steaks then spray with olive oil, add the seasoning and Parmesan cheese. Top with the sauce and mozzarella cheese. Put back in the oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
